“The course helped me feel less isolated, less stressed and more able to cope with the caring role.”
“Just go for it and take the opportunity to learn a new skill or hobby. No matter how little spare time you get as a carer it is vitally important to do something for yourself. I have found arts and crafts very therapeutic and a welcome escape from the day to day routine of life as a carer.”
“Following the weight management and exercise classes I am looking after myself much better by eating healthily and I’ve started taking regular walks.”
